Get comfortable with a sewing machine in this hands on beginner class. Learn the machine anatomy, how to set it up, wind a bobbin, and adjust tension and stitch length. Practice sewing a variety of stitches, maintaining seam allowance, and backstitching. Leave feeling confident behind the pedal.
This class is an hour longer than our usual Sewing Machine Basics class, allowing for more time to learn, ask questions, and allow students to learn at their own pace.
All materials and sewing machines provided. If you have a machine at home you’re struggling to set up, use, or need some help figuring out, you are welcome to bring it as well!
