City Folk community members:

  • Are kind and welcoming to everyone to enters the studio.

  • Are respectful of attendees’, instructors’, and staff’s pronouns.

  • Comment on other community members’ work and creations with respect and kindness.

  • Respect the space, tools, and materials. If you don’t know how to use something, please ask someone for help!

  • Only touch other people’s bodies, belongings, or art with explicit permission.

  • Respect the building and our neighbors. This includes acting with kindness and respect in shared spaces like bathrooms, hallways, stairwells, and right outside our building entrance.

  • Do not share building codes with anyone for any reason.

If someone is engaging in harmful behavior, alert City Folk staff immediately. If you submit any feedback your info will be kept confidential.

City Folk reserves the right to issue warning and or/ask you to leave/not participate in programming if you are engaging in harmful behavior in our space.

Below you can find general accessibility info about our beautiful but old building so you can plan your visit. Please reach out if you have further questions or need assistance or accommodations of any kind. 

  • The main entrance to our building has a callbox that is [#] feet from the ground level. After entering, there are [#] stairs and our studio door is located [#] feet from the top of the staircase.

  • The smallest width of hallway and/or door in our space is [#] feet. The widest shared bathroom stall on our floor is [#] wide. 

  • There is a ramp onsite, but is not accessible to the public from the outside of our building. Please send an email to hello@cityfolkcraft.com with the subject line “Wheelchair Ramp” and we can coordinate entry and exit as well as assist going up or down the ramp as needed. The ramp is [#] feet long and has an angle of [#] degrees.

  • We welcome sign language interpreters into our space. If you for any reason need access to a sign language interpreter, email us at hello@cityfolkcraft.com.

  • Our space is equipped with numerous air purifiers, including an Oransi Erik 650a air purifier and our space is 1225 square feet.


mask policy

  • All of our events are mask-optional unless otherwise noted in the event description. 

  • City Folk has free KN95 masks available for any attendee.

  • Any ticketholder can request that the entire class be masked, no questions asked. You can email hello@cityfolkcraft.com up to 48 hours before a class to request a masked class or workshop, and your identity will not be shared with the class.

  • City Folk reserves the right to request all attendees wear a KN94 or higher face mask while onsite. 

  • Our space is equipped with numerous air purifiers, including an Oransi Erik 650a air purifier and our space is 1225 square feet. 


event tickets

Please purchase tickets through our website or via Luma.com/cityfolkcraft. We do not sell tickets on any other platforms. You may see advertisements for our workshops on other platforms, but never pay for a ticket through any other payment processor besides directly from our website, cityfolkcraft.com.

REFUNDS:

  • All ticket payments to City Folk for any events, workshops, classes, clubs or otherwise are final and non-refundable. Please double check your calendar!

    • If for some reason you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else! We are unable to refund and all payments are final. 

    • If City Folk cancels your class or workshop for any reason, you will receive a full refund of your ticket price.

SICK POLICY & SWAPPING TICKETS:

  • If you are ill at the last minute and unable to attend a workshop, thank you for protecting others by not coming to class! You are welcome to give/swap your ticket to a friend.

    • Clubs: You can email us at hello@cityfolkcraft.com to request that we apply your ticket to a similar club at another time. We do not provide reschedules for anything other than illness, and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to reschedule your ticket. Please keep in mind that we do not offer refunds unless your class/workshop is cancelled by City Folk.

  • Swapping tickets with a friend is allowed and encouraged if you are unable to make class. City Folk assumes that the receiving friend has read agreed to all policies that the ticket purchaser has agreed to. It is the responsibility of the original purchaser to communicate these policies to the receiver.
